The quality of the colors in both models is relatively the same, but due to the contrast and black level, Sony KD49XE8077 greatly benefits.
Attention! If you intend to watch TV from the side, then Samsung is better here, since the VA-matrix has a very small viewing angle - no more than 20 degrees. With a larger viewing angle, the image quality is greatly reduced.
