You will need

To start making a sofa, you will need:

• fabric, preferably strong and 105 × 90 cm in size;
• filler, preferably synthetic winterizer.

In the absence of a whole piece of material, it is possible to sew from several rags to obtain a suitable size.

Action algorithm

As mentioned earlier, before starting production, you need to determine the location of the sofa and measure the size of your pet.

Further:

1. Copy the form onto the material and cut it out.
2. From the fabric that remains, cut out 8 of the longest ribbons.
3. We put two samples together and draw ribbons between them.
4. We sew all sides of the future sofa, leaving 12 cm from each end. This is necessary so that in the future it is easier to fill the bench with a padding polyester.
5. Next, we turn our thing inside out and hammer it with filler. Put as much synthetic winterizer as possible in the sides so that they are tight and keep their shape.
6. We sew all the holes and sew the bottom, adhering to the shape of the rectangle.
7. We tie all the ribbons on the bow.
8. We put the couch in a pre-selected place and call your pet.

ATTENTION. If your cat is very fluffy, then it is advisable to make shorter sides so that it is not hot. If, on the contrary, it is short-haired, then the sides can be made higher and denser to fill with synthetic winterizer.

The principle of making dog beds is almost the same as for cats, but for its proper manufacture it is necessary to understand that:

• dogs were domesticated a lot before domestic cats began to appear;
• the claws of the dogs are not cleaned and therefore they never get tangled or stuck;
• The toilet skills of dogs are much worse than those of cats.

The main difference between a cat bed and a dog bed is stuffing. The synthetic winterizer is not suitable in this case. The best material is coconut fiber or furniture foam.

1. Pillows and sidewalls are sewn from the inside, leaving room for clogging.

5. Foam is placed in the stitched blocks through the holes.

IMPORTANT. The material for the dog sofa is the same as for the cat, except for fluffy fabrics that hold various secretions. Various synthetics are suitable. Due to cutaneous glands, dogs are less sensitive to static electricity.
