Modest white asymmetrical kitchen with curly shelves

We have a small studio apartment, so we cannot afford a standard kitchen. A wall about two meters wide suggested something compact and small. It is clear that the best solution was to make a white kitchen, as this color visually expands the space. But in such a kitchen, there must have been some kind of zest. And it was the curly shelves that brought stylistic, color and textural diversity to the interior.

Open shelves added even more space to the setting, as bulky top modules, on the contrary, would make the room smaller. On these shelves, you can store beautiful trinkets that you are not ashamed to show to others. In addition, for safety reasons, it is better to keep the area above the hob open and uncluttered.

The open shelves are arranged asymmetrically, and a compact hood fits between them. Wooden shelves are additionally illuminated with built-in lamps and the working area is as comfortable in the evening as it is during the day. In addition to decorative shelves, the headset also contains more utilitarian blank cabinets.

It is interesting that open shelves can most often be found in large rooms, since the abundance of free space is conducive to this. But in our case, due to the white color, the headsets do not seem crowded and have little functionality. And, by the way, the question of the impracticality of such shelves is solved very simply: a good powerful hood - and cleaning will have to be carried out no more often than usual.

An additional color in interior design is wood. This is a darker plastic countertop and lighter wall panels in place of the backsplash. The color of the floors has something in common with the apron, but all these shades are dim and do not violate the overall pastel palette of the interior.

The furniture case is made of laminated chipboard (Egger). The facades are Italian thermostructured Cleaf panels. They are resistant to abrasion and household chemicals. Inexpensive panels are made of decorative plastic compressed with particle board. Their thickness is 18 mm, although the panels are lighter than ordinary chipboard due to the small amount of glue and resins in them.

The light wood top has an HPL top. It is an aesthetic and practical material with high performance characteristics.

The cabinets are filled with Blum fittings. It is she who allows you to use the interior space of the furniture set as efficiently as possible. The company has proven itself remarkably, its mechanisms work flawlessly throughout their entire service life.

Spacious and open is all about our kitchen. It turns out that even such a small room can be light and airy.
